Potomac Valley Organics Farm

We are a family farm dedicated to providing central Maryland with fresh, local, and organic produce.

How fresh? Our produce is harvested by hand and deliver to your market within twenty-four hours, many times even less. All of our packaged greens have the harvest date on the label so you know exactly when it was picked.

How local? Our farm is located no more than a forty minute drive from all the markets we sell to. There is no long-haul shipping or storage...

Our farm is Certified Organic and complying with the standards and regulations of the National Organic Program. All of our seeds are certified organic, and none are genetically modified or chemically treated. We do not use any chemical fertilizers. We practice companion planting, crop rotation, and integrated pest management as organic methods of attracting beneficial insects and repelling harmful ones, as well as suppressing weeds.
